Let us know what are the characteristics of Omicron’s sub-variant BF.7:-

  • BF.7 mainly causes upper respiratory infections. Getting infected by this causes pain in the upper parts of the chest and near the throat. A patient infected with this variant may complain of sore throat, sneezing, runny nose, blocked nose.
  • The infected person shows symptoms of cough without phlegm, cough with phlegm, headache. Along with this, the patient has difficulty in speaking and muscle pain persists.
  • Symptoms of fatigue, vomiting and diarrhea may appear. This virus can make people with weak immunity seriously ill.
  • Infected person may have fever with shivering along with continuous cough. He may also complain of not being able to smell. There is also a feeling of difficulty in breathing and fatigue.
  • Lack of smell and shortness of breath are common symptoms of the BF-7 variant of Kovid-19.

Its infection spreads rapidly

The BF.7 sub-variant is the most infectious compared to other variants in its class so far. According to experts, this variant is spreading very fast. The incubation period of this virus is very short. This virus can infect people rapidly. It is being said that this virus has the ability to infect even people who have taken the vaccine.

Random sampling will be done at the airport from December 24

On Thursday itself, a guideline has been issued by the government for international travelers coming to India. According to this, it is necessary for all the international travelers coming to India to be fully vaccinated. Along with this, during the journey, it is mandatory to apply mask at the entry and exit point on the flight or airport and follow social distancing. Instructions were given to follow the Kovid protocol and do random sampling of 2% passengers of international flights. This will be applicable from 24 December.
