A senior army officer told The Times of India on Wednesday (December 14) that we are ensuring the dumping of troops, war stores and ammunition in view of the bad weather and terrain conditions.
The military officer said, “This 3,488 km long LAC, which has essentially special preparations for all three sectors in the west (Ladakh), middle (Uttarakhand, Himachal) and east (Sikkim, Arunachal). Certainly eastern Ladakh And special attention is being paid to Arunachal, where both sides (India and China) have deployed around 50,000 troops in the bitter cold.”
At the same time, another official said, “There is also a lot of focus on 23 major areas of dispute along the LAC from Demchok and Chumar in eastern Ladakh to Yangtse and Fish Tail-1 and 2 in Arunachal.”
Chinese intrusion and its encroachment will not be tolerated
The official also said, “In the past, armies of both the countries (India and China) vacated many forward posts along the LAC during the harsh winter weather. During winters, the strength of the troops on the high altitude areas of the northern borders has to be increased.” Used to be reduced considerably. At the same time, now this is not being done amidst the tension between the two countries. Now we are deploying our soldiers on high altitude areas even in extreme cold. India expressed strong protest over the clash in Tawang area

At least six Indian soldiers among the injured were taken to the military hospital in Guwahati for treatment. India has expressed strong protest against China on this incident in LAC.
