Russian Citizen Death In Odisha: On Tuesday (January 3), the case of death of another Russian citizen has come to light in Odisha. This is the third case in the last 15 days. The deceased has been identified as 51-year-old Milyakov Sergey. The dead body of the person was found in a ship anchored at Paradip port in Jagatsinghpur district. The reason for the accident has been told as a heart attack. Even before this, the Russian MP had died due to heart attack in the state. Now after another death, the mystery is getting deeper.
The ship was going to Mumbai from Chittagong port in Bangladesh via Paradip. At around 4.30 am, the Russian citizen was found dead in the ship’s chamber. The police have been involved in the investigation of the case. Earlier, the case of death of Putin’s critic Pavel Antov came to light in Odisha. In this case, it was also alleged that the MP’s viscera was not preserved before the last rites and the police did not ask for its samples.
Russian citizens killed in Odisha
In the last 15 days, cases of death of three Russian citizens have come to the fore in Odisha. Earlier on December 24, sausage tycoon Antonov died after falling from the third floor of the hotel last Saturday. Another Russian tourist died of a heart attack in this hotel on December 22. The hotel staff said that broken liquor bottles and plates were strewn all over the room.
Regarding Putin’s critic Pavel Antonov’s death case, State Director General of Police SK Bansal had said that the CID and Crime Branch team is investigating the death of two Russian citizens, including a Russian MP. Bansal said the investigation was being conducted with an “open mind” and that he had so far “not found evidence of any wrongdoing” in the case.
