Shraddha Murder Case: The judicial custody of Aftab Poonawalla, the main accused in the Shraddha murder case, has been extended for 14 days. On the other hand, on Friday (December 9), Shraddha’s father Vikas Walkar met Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and then spoke to the media. Vikas Walkar said that our entire family is saddened by Shraddha’s death. He said that due to the murder of the daughter, my mental condition has also deteriorated.
Shraddha’s father further said, “Delhi Police has assured us that we will get justice. Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis also assured us of the same.” He also said that he did not get help from some people of the police department, for which he is also very sad. He said that we are helping the police in every possible way.
‘Aftab should be punished severely’
Vikas Valkar said that Aftab Poonawalla should be given the harshest punishment for brutally killing my daughter. Shraddha’s father said, “I demand that this matter should be investigated to the bottom and it should be found out who gave such education to Aftab.”

Vikas Walkar raised questions on the working style of Vasai police in the press conference. He said, “My daughter was brutally murdered… I had to face many problems because of Vasai police, if they had helped me, my daughter would have been alive.”

Significantly, 28-year-old Aftab is accused of killing Shraddha Walkar in an apartment in Delhi’s Mehrauli in May. After killing, he cut Shraddha into 35 pieces and kept throwing them in many parts of the city. Aftab’s lawyer says that he has not confessed to the crime in the court.
