Train tickets become cheaper as soon as the festival is over, you will have to go to the platform and withdraw just that much money

What we all want while traveling in a train, is to get all the necessary facilities and travel at the cheapest prices. Maybe now your wish of cheap train ticket can be fulfilled. Yes, the railways has reduced the platform ticket prices at major stations while keeping the railway passengers alive. In fact, in view of the festivals, the price of platform tickets at some stations was increased by 3 to 5 times.
Now the right to fix the price of platform tickets has been taken away from DRM. Let us tell you, in view of Chhath Puja on Diwali, the platform ticket rate was reduced from 30 to 50 rupees at many big stations. Seeing the way the prices had increased, people were also angry, now this decision has been withdrawn by the Railways.

Prices were increased at these stations –

In order to control the crowd gathered at railway stations during the festive season, Lucknow division of Northern Railway had increased the platform ticket prices. Where people used to get Rs 30 on the platform, they had to pay Rs 50 in festivals. These prices were increased at railway stations in 14 districts of Northern Railway, which had stations like Lucknow, Varanasi, Barabanki and Ayodhya Cantt.

These include Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Dadar and Thane railway stations. At the same time, platform tickets at Kalyan, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Panvel stations were also increased to Rs 50.

If you are traveling in a flight, do not sleep on the seat like this, otherwise you will have to bear the trouble for the whole journey.

This order was taken to control the crowd –

In fact, a large number of people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar live in many metros of the country including Mumbai, Delhi. Now it has the highest number of people doing jobs and business. But, when the festival season comes, people leave their homes. This time also a large number of people have come to UP on Diwali, after the passing of Diwali, a lot of crowd was seen at some of the return stations. This order of the Railways has been taken to control the crowd.
