It is said that this house is haunted by the spirits of the De Mello brothers, who were always fighting with each other for the rights over their ancestral property. One night, the fight escalated so much that one brother killed the other. After a few days the other brother also died.

Since then, passersby and people living nearby claim to hear strange sounds and screams coming from the D’Mello House. They believe that the house is cursed, and hence, no one goes near it. People are afraid of buying this luxurious house in Goa.

Let us tell you, there is a road named Igorchem Dam located in Raya village near Rachol in the coastal state of Goa, which is considered a scary road.

It is said that the presence of ghosts has been felt on this road during the afternoon. The local people of Goa believe that the shadow of an evil spirit always remains here. People are afraid to pass through this road, especially between 2 pm and 3 pm, so you will find silence here.

One day, one of them poisoned his/her other two brothers to become the sole king of that region. However, when his/her subjects came to know about his/her evil deed, he/she committed suicide as he/she feared spreading resentment against him/her. Since then, the souls of these three king brothers reside in this church. Let us tell you, no one goes inside this church.

Saligao is a small village on the Calangute-Panaji road. Although the village is famous for its churches, it is believed that the spirit of a woman named Kristalina lives in this village. The banyan tree in the village is said to be the home of this spirit. Local people tell many stories related to this village, people say that one day a person who was passing through the village saw the spirit and became unconscious there.

The next day, locals found him/her with scratches all over his/her body. he/she screamed Cristalina’s name and said that her spirit possessed him/her. Although it has been more than five decades since this incident happened, local people are still afraid of going near the banyan tree at night. Some people don’t even wander around this village.
