Temperature rises due to sunshine in Delhi

There has been good sunshine in Delhi-NCR for the last four days. Due to this, there has been an increase in day and night temperatures. The minimum temperature in the national capital on Wednesday was recorded at 9.3 degrees Celsius, which is 1.8 degrees more than the normal temperature of this season. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain with thunderstorms in Delhi. The humidity level was recorded at 98 percent at 8.30 in the morning.

IMD has predicted one or two light rains along with thunderstorms on Wednesday night and Thursday. Along with this, the sky has been predicted to remain cloudy. IMD said that there is also a possibility of mist or light fog in the evening and night. The maximum and minimum temperatures on Thursday are expected to be around 22 degrees and 11 degrees Celsius respectively.

Chances of rain in Uttar Pradesh, weather will change

The weather has remained dry in many cities of UP for the last few days. At some places, common people faced some problems due to fog. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in Western Uttar Pradesh tomorrow i.e. on January 23. During this period, there is a possibility of cloudy sky at some places. There is also a possibility of dense fog in many areas on January 25.

Weather normal in Bihar, MP, Jharkhand

The weather in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh adjacent to UP has also remained normal in recent times. Cold is bothering me in the morning and night. However, due to sunshine in many areas during the day, the mercury has gone up slightly. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain at some places in Bihar, MP and Jharkhand in a day or two. There is a possibility of cloudy weather during this period. In such a situation, cold may return.

Winter continues in Rajasthan

Winter continues in many areas of Rajasthan. In the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature recorded in Mount Abu, the only hill town of the state, was 2.4 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the plains was recorded at 5.8 degrees Celsius in Sangriya of Hanumangarh, 6.8 degrees in Lunkaransar, 7.3 degrees Celsius in Sirohi and Fatehpur.

The minimum temperature in the capital Jaipur was 13 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, minimum temperatures were recorded above normal in Ajmer, Kota, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaipur and Bikaner. There is a possibility of rain along with fog at some places on Thursday.

Relief from cold in Haryana and Punjab

Minimum temperatures remained near normal levels at many places in Haryana and Punjab. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature of Chandigarh, the common capital of both the states, was recorded at 8.9 degrees Celsius. It was a cold night in Faridkot and Gurdaspur in Punjab, where the minimum temperatures were recorded at 5.2 and 6.5 degrees Celsius respectively.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 7.4 degrees Celsius in Amritsar and 10.6 degrees Celsius in Ludhiana. In Haryana, the minimum temperature in Bhiwani was 7.9 degrees Celsius, Hisar was 8 degrees Celsius, Rohtak was 8.2 degrees Celsius, Gurugram was 9.4 degrees Celsius, Faridabad was 9.5 degrees Celsius and Ambala was 11.2 degrees Celsius.

Temperature rises despite snowfall in Kashmir

Fresh snowfall was seen in some high altitude areas of Jammu and Kashmir during the night. However, an increase was recorded in the minimum temperature across the valley, which brought some relief to the people from the harsh cold. Snowfall was also recorded at Zojila on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway. The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain or snowfall in the next few days. Night temperatures increased across the valley due to cloudy sky.
