There has been strong sunshine in Delhi for the last two days, which has given great relief to the people from cold and melting. At some places in UP, Bihar and Rajasthan, fog is troubling people. However, there has been relief from the cold due to the sun coming out. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is going to deteriorate again soon and cold may return.

How will the weather be in Delhi-NCR?

The temperature has been rising in Delhi-NCR for the last two days. Due to strong sunlight, an increase in temperature was seen on Tuesday. At a time when there is severe cold, such weather is attracting people. However, the weather is going to deteriorate soon in Delhi-NCR. According to the Meteorological Department, the mercury will come down again in the next one to two days.

This is because snowfall has started on the mountains. This will affect the plains. There are chances of rain at some places from January 22, this may also lead to return of cold. According to IMD, the maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to be around 25 degrees Celsius.

Cold will increase again due to snowfall in the mountains

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum mercury is rising rapidly in North-West, Central and Eastern India. This has given relief to people from the cold. However, there are chances of light rain and snowfall in the upper areas of the mountains, due to which the winter season will return again. People’s problems will increase again due to melting and cold. The weather is clear right now in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh. However, there are chances of rain in the coming days. This clearly means that after the rains the cold will return. In such a situation, do not keep your sweaters, jackets and warm clothes just yet.

Some relief from increase in minimum temperature in Rajasthan

People have got some relief from cold due to increase in minimum temperature in Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many parts of the state. On Tuesday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 5.2 degrees in Fatehpur, 6.6 degrees in Lunkaransar, 7.3 degrees in Churu, 7.4 degrees in Sangaria, 7.8 degrees in Pilani, 8.5 degrees in Bikaner, and 9.0 degrees Celsius in Sikar.

The minimum temperature in the capital Jaipur was 13.7 degrees and there was good sunshine on Tuesday. According to the department, due to the activation of a new western disturbance on January 22, there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in the north-western and north-eastern parts of the state. Similarly, after January 22, there is a possibility of dense fog at some places in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Bikaner divisions.

Snowfall in Gulmarg and Sonamarg of Kashmir

Fresh snowfall was seen during the night in some other high altitude areas of Jammu and Kashmir, including tourist resorts Gulmarg and Sonamarg. However, an increase was recorded in the minimum temperature across the valley, which brought some relief to the people from the harsh cold. Officials gave this information here on Tuesday. Snowfall was also recorded at Zojila on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway.

The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain or snowfall at isolated places on Wednesday. There is a possibility of very light rain or light snowfall at isolated places a day later. Night temperatures increased across the valley due to cloudy sky.

Rain and storm forecast in southern Tamil Nadu

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with thunderstorm and lightning in many districts of Tamil Nadu on Thursday. According to the Regional Meteorological Center (RMC), there is a possibility of rain in Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, Dindigul and Kanyakumari districts. Light to moderate north-easterly and easterly winds will continue to prevail at the lower troposphere level.

Fishermen have been warned not to venture into the sea due to stormy weather conditions. Wind speed is expected to be between 35-45 km/hr along southern Tamil Nadu coast, Comorin area and Gulf of Mannar during the next two days. Wind speed can go up to 55 km/hour. Rainfall continues across the state due to rising moisture levels in the sea and changing wind patterns.
