This time monsoon is wreaking havoc in Uttarakhand. Heavy rain is falling in the entire state. Rain havoc continues in Uttarakhand from mountains to plains. The weather department has already issued an alert regarding heavy rain in many hill districts. Heavy rain is falling in all these districts of Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Uttarkashi, Tehri. Not only this, the water level of all the rivers of the state is continuously increasing. The situation is such that all the rivers are flowing above the danger mark in their furious form. Mountains are also breaking and falling due to heavy rain.

People are waiting for rain in some districts of Bihar

People of most districts of Bihar are eagerly waiting for rain. In districts like Patna, Vaishali, Muzaffarpur, clouds are coming and going back. The indifference of clouds has broken the hopes of farmers. Fields have started drying. The rice crop that has been sown is heading towards getting scorched. Farmers are disappointed and worried. It is said that till now the rainfall in the state has been 31 percent less than what it should have been. Meanwhile, the government has started preparations regarding the possibility of drought. However, light rain is expected in many districts. Shahabad, which is called the rice bowl, has also received less than normal rainfall this year. Rain wreaks havoc in Himachal Pradesh

The Manali-Leh National Highway-3 has been opened for traffic. A portion of the road between Dhundi and Palchan bridge was blocked due to flash floods two days ago. The flood was caused by a cloudburst in Anjani Mahadev drain in Manali. Three houses were washed away and another house was badly damaged in the cloudburst flood, leaving four families homeless. The affected families are currently living in a school. The Shimla Meteorological Office on Friday issued a ‘yellow’ alert of heavy rain at isolated places in eight out of 12 districts of the state for the next four days i.e. till July 30. Intermittent rain continues in many parts of the state.
