According to IMD, Delhi is likely to receive light rain with strong winds blowing at a speed of 20-30 kmph during the day today. According to the seven-day forecast of IMD, the rainy season may continue in the national capital till July 1. Monsoon may knock in Delhi by the end of this month.

The maximum temperature will remain below 40 degrees and the minimum temperature can reach 27 degrees. The Meteorological Department has said that from June 27 to July 2, the maximum and minimum temperatures will drop by one degree every day, and there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms for 7 days. This sudden change in the weather is being seen due to western disturbance. If the scientists of the Meteorological Department are to be believed, the monsoon has reached many districts of western Uttar Pradesh and soon its effect will be seen in the entire western Uttar Pradesh. In the coming 48 hours, the monsoon will affect the entire western Uttar Pradesh including NCR. At present, people are facing severe heat and humidity.

Rain forecast at many places in Andhra Pradesh tomorrow
The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains with thunderstorms in parts of Andhra Pradesh. Heavy rains are expected in parts of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Strong winds with a speed of 50 kmph are likely in these places.

Heavy damage due to continuous rain in Kerala

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Banaskantha, Dwarka, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Navsari and Valsad in Gujarat on June 27. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for the next five days in Gujarat.

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rainfall in Konkan-Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe, Lakshadweep, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. According to IMD, there may be rain in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal tomorrow.
