Yellow alert issued in Himachal Pradesh

The Meteorological Department in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday issued a ‘yellow’ alert for heavy rains in different parts of the state for the next four days i.e. till July 28. The Meteorological Department also warned about damage to gardens, standing crops and kutcha houses due to strong winds and waterlogging in low-lying areas in the state. According to the Meteorological Center in Shimla, it is raining intermittently in some parts of the state. Let us tell you that so far 47 people have died in rain-related incidents in the state, while the monsoon that has been going on since June 27 has caused a loss of about Rs 364 crore.
