Tomorrow’s weather 24 October 2024: The temperature is rising in Delhi-NCR. More than half of the month of October has passed. But still not feeling the cold. According to the Meteorological Department, the feeling of cold may start from the first week of November. The sky will be clear between Thursday and October 28. The maximum temperature can be 34 to 35 degrees. The minimum temperature can remain between 18 to 20 degrees. After this, another western disturbance will reach the mountains around 27-28 October. This will also increase the cold. On the other hand, due to change in weather in UP, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, mild cold was being felt, but in the last few days the weather has changed again. Now it is getting hot during the day as well as at night. There is no possibility of any major change in the weather in these states in the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be rain and thundershowers at isolated places in Eastern UP on October 24, while in Western UP the weather is expected to remain dry during this period. After this, the weather is likely to remain dry in both parts of the state on October 25, 26, 27 and 28.

Schools closed amid warning of heavy rain in Bengaluru

Schools and Anganwadi centers remained closed on Wednesday in view of the forecast of heavy rain in Bengaluru. According to the Meteorological Department, Bengaluru has received 23.6 mm of rain in the last 24 hours till 8:30 am on Wednesday. Generally cloudy sky with moderate rain and thundershowers is expected in the city today. Heavy rain may also occur during the day. There are chances of rain on Thursday also. The Karnataka government suggested information technology (IT), biotechnology (BT), electronic and private companies to allow their employees to work from home.

Rain starts in many parts of Odisha

The ‘outer band’ of cyclonic storm ‘Dana’ hit the east coast on Wednesday afternoon, causing rain in parts of Kendrapara and Bhadrak districts of Odisha. The outer curved bands of clouds and thunderstorms are called ‘outer bands’. These bands move away from the center of the storm in a spiral manner, causing heavy rains along with strong winds in the affected areas. The IMD predicted that cyclone ‘Dana’ could make landfall early Friday between Bhitarkanika National Park and Dhamra port, located about 70 kilometers from each other.

Orange alert in Jharkhand regarding cyclone ‘Dana’, many trains canceled

The Meteorological Department in Jharkhand has issued an orange alert regarding cyclone ‘Dana’. There is a possibility of rain with heavy thunder in many parts of the state including Kolhan division on Wednesday. There is a possibility of heavy rain and strong winds in different parts of the state till October 25. The Disaster Management Department of Jharkhand has also alerted the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts regarding this. Railways has also canceled many trains. According to the bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department on Wednesday, there may be heavy rain in the south-eastern parts of the state on October 24. During this period, incidents of lightning along with thunder may also occur, and the wind speed may be 40-50 km per hour, which can reach up to 60 km per hour.
