The sky will remain clear from tomorrow till 27th October. The maximum temperature can be 34 to 35 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 18 to 19 degrees. According to Skymet, colder winds will start being felt after October 23. Due to these winds the day and night temperatures will drop. The minimum temperature can be up to 18 and the maximum temperature can be up to 34 degrees. This situation may persist between 23rd to 26th October. Another Western Disturbance will reach the mountains around 27 to 28 October. Due to this, the weather in the plains will change again and winter will increase.

In UP, the weather is likely to remain dry in western and eastern UP on October 22. Even on October 23, the weather may remain clear in both parts of the state. The weather is expected to change in the state from October 24. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at isolated places in eastern Uttar Pradesh on October 24. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Mirzapur, Chandauli and Sonbhadra on Thursday. Along with this, there are chances of rain and thundershowers at many places on October 25 and October 26.

Possibility of heavy rain in Bengal

Amidst the fear of cyclone and storm in West Bengal, IMD has issued a warning that cyclonic storm ‘Dana’ will take a severe form in many districts of Bengal. This storm can cross the Odisha coast and reach the West Bengal coast between the night of 24 October and the morning of 25 October. During this period the wind speed can range from 100 to 120 kilometers per hour. According to the report of the Meteorological Department, a cyclone is forming in the South Andaman Sea on Sunday. This cyclone will develop over the Bay of Bengal by Tuesday. Meteorologists have predicted that it will reach near the coast of Odisha on the night of 24 October. The Meteorological Department also said that a severe disaster may occur in Bengal before the grand Kali Puja to be held in Bengal.

Heavy rain may occur in these states also

Apart from West Bengal, there may also be rain in many districts of neighboring states Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in the coastal districts of West Bengal, East Medinipur, West Medinipur, South 24 Parganas and North 24 Parganas on October 23. The department said heavy to very heavy rainfall, with isolated extremely heavy falls at one or two places, is expected over East Medinipur, West Medinipur, South 24 Parganas and Jhargram on October 24 and 25. The weather department also said that heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, North 24 Parganas, Purulia and Bankura districts on October 24 and 25.
