Tomorrow’s weather 23 November 2024: Cold has started increasing in many states across the country including the capital Delhi. The minimum temperature in Delhi has reached around 10 degrees. The coldest night of this season was recorded in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Cold has now started being felt throughout North India even during the day. The Meteorological Department says that the weather will start getting colder in the states of North India from tomorrow. The cold winds coming from the mountains are increasing the cold. Along with this, there is also a possibility of fog tomorrow in some states including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Delhi, UP. There are chances of rain in Bengal and Kerala. Temperature will fall in Delhi-NCR, cold will increase

Cold is continuously increasing in Delhi-NCR. The temperature also continues to fall. The coldest night of this season was recorded on Thursday with 10.2 degrees Celsius. The weather department says that tomorrow also the temperature will be around 10 degrees. Along with cold, a blanket of fog may also cover the capital. The temperature has been falling in Delhi for the last few days. Pollution in the capital also remains at a serious level. AQI remains beyond 400 in most areas.

Mercury below zero in Kashmir Valley

The temperature has reached below zero in most areas of Kashmir Valley. The coldest night of this season was recorded in many areas including Srinagar on Thursday. The temperature went down to minus 1.2 degrees. The Meteorological Department says that the mercury will fall further in the coming two-three days. IMD has predicted light rain or thundershowers at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall in the next two days, especially in the higher reaches of Kashmir.

Increasing cold in Rajasthan

The mercury is continuously falling in Rajasthan also. At some places the temperature has dropped below 10 degrees. The minimum temperature recorded last night in Sirohi, Rajasthan was 7.3 degrees Celsius. Apart from Sirohi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 7.4 degrees in Fatehpur, 8.0 degrees in Sikar, 8.8 degrees in Dabok, 8.6 degrees in Jalore, 9.3 degrees in Churu, 9.2 degrees in Bhilwara and 9.4 degrees in Chittorgarh. The minimum temperature in Mount Abu, a hill station of the state, was 5.0 degrees. The Meteorological Department says that the cold will increase further in Rajasthan in the coming days.

Rain alert in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal around November 23. Apart from this, a cyclonic circulation is also present in South Kerala and its surrounding areas up to 1.5 km above sea level. Due to its effect, a low pressure area is likely to form in the same area tomorrow. It is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression over central parts of South Bay of Bengal during next 2 days. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall under the influence of the incoming low pressure system. Very heavy rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu and heavy rainfall over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Kerala. Hail may occur at isolated places in Meghalaya and heavy rainfall over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
