Spring rains are expected in Delhi-NCR
The sky has been cloudy since this morning in the capital Delhi. The winds have also received mild relief from the scorching heat for several days. On Saturday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 16.7 degrees Celsius, which is 0.6 degrees below the average temperature of this season. The Meteorological Department has also expected to remain cloudy in Delhi yesterday. Spring rains may also occur in some places tonight and tomorrow.

Possibility of thunderstorms and rain in West Bengal
There is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain in some parts of West Bengal due to moisture coming from the Bay of Bengal and favorable air trend. The Meteorological Department said that on Friday, one or two places in Jhargram, East and West Medinipur, Bankura, Purulia, East Bardhaman, Hooghly and Howrah districts are expected to receive strong winds, electricity, hailstorms and light to moderate rains on Friday. It said that in Nadia, Birbhum, Murshidabad, Eastern Bardhaman and North and South 24 Parganas districts, there is a possibility of storms with strong winds, electricity and light to moderate rains on Saturday. IMD said that the maximum temperature in the state during the next two days will fall by three to four degrees Celsius.
Thunderstorms alert in Telangana
The Meteorological Department issued ‘Orange’ and ‘Yellow’ alerts on Friday for several districts of Telangana, under which there was warning of thunderstorms, hailstorms and strong winds by the morning of 24 March.
