Tomorrow’s weather 23 December 2024: The weather patterns have changed across the country including Delhi-NCR. The effect of snowfall in the hilly areas is also visible in the plains of North India. Cold wave continues in some districts of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, UP and Rajasthan. In many areas the mercury has reached less than 5 degrees. At the same time, warning of rain has also been issued in some states of South India. Know where the weather will be tomorrow.

Cold wave will increase further in Delhi

The Meteorological Department has predicted that the cold will increase further in the capital Delhi in the coming days. IMD has warned that foggy conditions may persist in the coming days, due to which the cold wave is likely to intensify further. Visibility is expected to reduce and cold will increase in the early morning. There may be drizzle in Delhi tomorrow. According to IMD, tomorrow morning will start with moderate fog. It will remain partly cloudy throughout the day. There may be drizzle in the evening and night. There may be good rain after Christmas. With this, the cold will increase significantly in Delhi and dense fog will also be seen.

Cold outbreak continues in Rajasthan

Cold wave conditions continued in some parts of Rajasthan on Sunday and the minimum temperature in Karauli was recorded at 4.5 degrees Celsius. Jaipur Meteorological Center in-charge Radheshyam Sharma said that the weather in the state was mainly dry and there was fog at some places. The Meteorological Department has predicted similar weather in Rajasthan tomorrow also. Dense fog may also be seen in some districts.

Cold wave alert for three days

The Meteorological Department has issued a cold wave warning in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Punjab for the next three days. A new western disturbance is likely to cause scattered to widespread rainfall over northwest India from December 27. Dense fog warning has been issued for Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. A warning of thunder and lightning has been issued in Meghalaya and Assam. Dense fog warning has been issued in Odisha and West Bengal.

Rain warning in these states

Odisha has seen rain due to the low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in the interior areas of Odisha while heavy rain may occur in the coastal areas. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh on 24 and 25 December. Hence, heavy rain warning has been issued for coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. There may be sporadic rain along with thunderstorm in these areas.
