The Meteorological Department had predicted light rain today but not a single drop of rain fell in the capital. On the other hand, the weather suddenly changed in Rajasthan and it became dark during the day and it started raining after some time. However, this round of rain was limited to some areas of the city, Lalkothi, Tonk Road, SMS Hospital, Ajmeri Gate, Rajapark, Civil Lines and some areas of Parkota. Meanwhile, IMD has predicted very heavy to extremely heavy rains at some places in Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura during the next 2 days due to the low pressure area over North Bangladesh. Even though the sun is shining in Delhi-NCR today, according to the weather department’s forecast, there will be heavy rain in the capital for the next three days. IMD has also issued a yellow alert in Delhi from 22 to 24. Along with this, Delhiites have been advised to be cautious. Let us tell you that tomorrow i.e. on August 22, the maximum temperature of Delhi is expected to be 35 degrees and the minimum temperature is expected to be 27 degrees. Tomorrow the day may start with rain.

Monsoon is still active in UP

Monsoon is in active mode not only in Delhi but also in UP. Today, clouds are raining heavily in many areas including Lucknow, Basti, Gonda. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many other districts including Lucknow, Gonda, Bahraich, Amethi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Sitapur, Saharanpur, Pilibhit, Bijnor, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Muzaffarnagar, Moradabad for tomorrow i.e. 22nd August. Let us tell you that there has been heavy rain in UP in the last few days. Due to which many rivers are still in spate and some are flowing above the danger mark. In such a situation, the danger of flood still looms in the state.

Rain is wreaking havoc in Uttarakhand

The mood of the weather has changed a lot in Uttarakhand. Rain continues in most of the districts here. Many houses have been damaged due to cloudburst in Tehri district. Seeing the condition of rain in the mountains, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert here till August 25. IMD has predicted rain in Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Almora, Nainital, and Champawat in the next 24 hours.
