Tomorrow’s weather 21st December 2024: Cold is continuously showing its colors in Delhi-NCR. Parts of Delhi and surrounding areas like Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram have been under a blanket of dense fog for the last few days. Other parts of North India are also in the grip of severe cold. Temperatures remained below freezing point in parts of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, there are chances of rain in South India.

How will the weather be?

The minimum temperature in Delhi has been higher than yesterday. The lowest temperature recorded was 7.5 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in the plains of North India mostly ranges between 4 to 10 degrees Celsius. There is no major change in temperature in North India and East India. The minimum temperature here remains between minus 1.5 to 1.5 degrees Celsius. Most of the peninsular India in the southern parts of the country and the coastal parts of peninsular India are witnessing a greater drop in minimum temperatures.

A depression will intensify over west central Gulf during the next 12 hours. Presently there is a Western Disturbance from 70 degrees East to 25 degrees North. There is a warning from the Meteorological Department that cold wave will persist in some parts of Himachal Pradesh, West Rajasthan and Western Himalayan region. At the same time, there will be heavy rainfall in some parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Cold wave continues in Punjab, Haryana

Cold wave and severe cold continued in many areas of Punjab and Haryana. The minimum temperature in Faridkot was recorded at two degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has given this information. Bathinda also remained in the grip of severe cold, where the minimum temperature was recorded at 3.6 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature in Hisar, Haryana was recorded at 2.8 degrees Celsius.

Himachal: Cold wave warning

Cold wave conditions persist in the lower hilly and plain areas of Himachal Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has predicted cold wave to severe cold wave conditions in some places of the state from December 20 to 24. The local meteorological department has warned of severe cold wave in four out of 12 districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of cold to severe cold wave at some places in the lower hilly areas of Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Mandi districts. Earlier, yellow alert of cold wave was issued in Chamba and Kangra districts till Saturday.

Rajasthan: Effect of western disturbance will be visible

Amidst the harsh winter in Rajasthan, there may be rain next week due to the effect of a western disturbance. The Meteorological Department gave this information. According to the Meteorological Department, winter and cold wave will continue in the state. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center spokesperson, there is a possibility of isolated rain along with thunder due to the influence of an active western disturbance in the state in the last week of December. There is a possibility of light moderate rain with thunder in some parts of South Eastern Rajasthan on 25th December, while in Udaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Bikaner divisions on 26th and 27th December.
