New Delhi: From mountains to plains, heat has been troubling people for the last several days. Heat wave alert has been issued in entire North India including Delhi-NCR. The number of patients in hospitals is also increasing continuously. The sun is spewing fire in the afternoon, while the humidity at night is not letting people sleep peacefully. Even cooler fans are ineffective. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has given news of relief. The good news for the people of Delhi-NCR who have been facing severe heat for the last several days is that clouds have started appearing in the sky since Wednesday. According to the weather department’s forecast, there is a possibility of light rain in Delhi on June 20, i.e. tomorrow. The weather of Delhi-NCR has changed due to western disturbance. However, the heat will increase again on June 21.

Where can it rain tomorrow?
According to the Meteorological Department, scattered rain, thunderstorms and dust storms are possible in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, north-western Uttar Pradesh and north-western Rajasthan in the next 24 hours. The weather pattern is going to change due to western disturbance in North India.

Be prepared for the heatwave too
Even though there are chances of drizzle at some places, the heatwave conditions will continue. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heatwave in the western and eastern parts of the country for tomorrow. According to the IMD, there may be severe heatwave conditions in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi tomorrow. Apart from this, heatwave conditions may prevail in different parts of Jammu division, Jharkhand, Bihar, northern Madhya Pradesh and northern Chhattisgarh.
