Due to which a heavy rain alert has been issued in all 18 districts of Madhya Pradesh. At present, the low pressure area of ​​​​the Bay of Bengal has shifted to the south-eastern area of ​​​​Madhya Pradesh and its surrounding areas. Due to the weather system weakening slightly during the last 24 hours, it is likely to increase in some parts of Madhya Pradesh and neighboring state Maharashtra.

Heavy rain causes devastation in Uttarakhand

The water level of the Mandakini river has started rising. The havoc of heavy rains is also being seen in Dharchula Munsyari of Pithoragarh. Due to continuous rains, many roads including the Nolda Khateda motor road in the Talla Johar area of ​​Munsyari are closed. Due to heavy rains, soil erosion is also taking place from the Mandakini river. The Mandakini river is seen in its fierce form in the Madkot area. The situation is such that the embankments and safety walls have also been badly damaged due to the flow of water. The Mandakini river is heading towards the residential areas of Bhaurabagad and Devi Bagad. Also, the bridge connecting Gram Sabha Bung-Bung Simkhola was washed away in the strong current of the river due to heavy rains. Due to this, 70 families living here have lost contact.

It will rain in these states tomorrow too
The Meteorological Department has also issued an alert of heavy rain tomorrow in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Vidarbha, South Chhattisgarh and South Odisha. There is also a possibility of rain in Konkan, Goa, coastal Karnataka, South interior Karnataka, Gujarat. Apart from this, there is an alert of heavy rain for the next five days in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, northern interior Karnataka.
