While cold has arrived along with fog in the areas of North India, rains are continuing in some states of South India. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of dense fog in many states including Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, UP tomorrow also. Cold will increase in Delhi-NCR

According to the Meteorological Department, the cold will increase in the capital Delhi from tomorrow i.e. 18th November and there is a possibility of dense fog till 20th November. Severe cold will set in from tomorrow. Days will remain dry till 20th November. Although there is no possibility of rain during this period, the sky will remain clear. Along with fog, pollution also remains at a serious level in Delhi. Therefore, dense fog can also be accompanied by smog.

Mercury will fall further in North India

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of a drop of two to three degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature in North-West India in the next five days. Foggy conditions are expected to persist over northwest India, Bihar and sub-Himalayan West Bengal for the next two days. Dense fog may occur in Assam and Meghalaya in the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu and Kerala in the next 24 hours.

Where will there be fog?

Dense fog continues in Punjab, Haryana, West Rajasthan and other areas in the morning. Dense fog is also being seen in eastern India including districts like Supaul in Bihar. Apart from this, dense fog cover was observed in the Terai areas of Uttar Pradesh during the morning hours. According to the report, the minimum temperature in the plains of north-west India, which includes Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, is predicted to drop by two to three degrees Celsius in the next five days. There is no possibility of any significant change in the temperature in Central India in the next three days, but after that there may be a drop of two to three degrees Celsius.

Apart from this, dense fog may prevail in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and North Rajasthan tonight and tomorrow morning. In Himachal Pradesh also, dense fog may occur in Bilaspur and surrounding areas tonight and tomorrow morning. Across India, dense to very dense fog may occur over eastern Uttar Pradesh and Terai areas of Bihar. In Northeast India, dense fog may occur over some areas of Assam and Meghalaya tonight and tomorrow morning.
