Rain is causing havoc in Uttarakhand

Heavy rains affect traffic in Himachal
Due to heavy rains in many parts of Himachal Pradesh, 42 roads were closed for vehicular movement. According to the Meteorological Department, moderate rains have been continuing in some parts of the state for the last two days and the highest rainfall of 78.5 (mm) mm was recorded in Katula. The Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of moderate rain in the state tomorrow i.e. on Monday as well. The danger of landslides is also increasing.
Heavy rains stopped in Rajasthan
The spell of heavy rains has stopped in Rajasthan and in the last 24 hours, light rain has occurred at one or two places. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, in the 24 hours till 8:30 am on Sunday, light rain with thunder occurred at some places in eastern Rajasthan, while the weather remained dry in western Rajasthan. During this period, the maximum rainfall of 7 mm was recorded in Kunwaria (Rajsamand). According to the Meteorological Center, the weather is expected to remain dry in the state for the next two-three days.
