Along with the national capital, heavy rain is also continuing in the areas of NCR. It is raining heavily in many areas including Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad of Haryana, adjoining Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, this phase of rain is not going to stop now. On Saturday, there is an alert of heavy rain not only in Delhi but also in many areas of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha. Heavy rain alert for Delhi-NCR

The rain continues in different parts of the country. Especially the people living in the national capital Delhi and NCR are not able to see the sun properly for the last two days. Only rain is visible. It rained late night in many parts of the national capital, due to which many areas got submerged and traffic got disrupted. According to meteorologists, more rain is expected on Saturday. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature on Friday was recorded at 21.4 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees below normal. Tomorrow i.e. on Saturday, Delhi will generally remain cloudy. There will be light to moderate rain. The maximum temperature is likely to be recorded around 30 degrees Celsius.

Heavy rain in Rajasthan too, some relief expected from tomorrow

Heavy rain was recorded in many areas of Rajasthan in the last 24 hours, however, according to the Meteorological Department, the people of the state are now expected to get relief from this. According to the Meteorological Department, in the 24 hours till 8:30 am on Friday, rain occurred at some places in western Rajasthan and at some places in eastern Rajasthan with thunder. During this, heavy rain was recorded at some places in Jaipur, Dausa, Sikar, Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, Kota, Jhalawar and Baran districts. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of reduction in heavy rain activities in the state from September 14. During this period, light to moderate rain is likely at sporadic places till September 17. At the same time, the weather is likely to remain mainly dry in most parts of western Rajasthan in the coming days and light to moderate rain is likely at some places.

Situation bad due to rain in Uttarakhand, red alert in many areas

Rain continued in most parts of Uttarakhand. In view of the possibility of heavy rain, the Meteorological Department has issued a ‘red alert’ in many areas. Schools were closed in some districts including Dehradun. The rain that started early in the morning in Dehradun continued intermittently throughout the day while the district administration ordered to keep all schools closed as a precautionary measure in view of the ‘red alert’ of rain issued by the Meteorological Department. Schools were also closed in Chamoli district. It is raining in the hilly areas of both Garhwal and Kumaon regions. Meanwhile, the hotel owners of Gaurikund have decided to charge only one day’s rent from the pilgrims stranded due to rain on the Kedarnath walking route.

There is a possibility of rain in UP and Madhya Pradesh as well

Monsoon is in full active mode. In such a situation, there are chances of heavy rain in UP and Madhya Pradesh. The mood of the weather has changed in many districts. Normal life has been disrupted due to heavy rain. According to the Meteorological Department, there is an alert of heavy rain in many places in western UP on Saturday. Apart from this, there may be heavy rain in many districts of eastern UP as well. There are chances of rain in many districts of Madhya Pradesh including Gwalior, Bhopal.

There will be heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh. Due to this, there is also a warning of flood danger in some parts of Shimla, Kinnaur and Sirmaur districts. A ‘yellow alert’ has been issued for heavy rains, thunderstorms and lightning at different places in five out of 12 districts of the state. Light rains continued in some parts of the state since Thursday. Since the arrival of monsoon on June 27 in Himachal Pradesh, the amount of rain so far is 21 percent less than normal.

Heavy rain forecast in Odisha too

There is a rain alert in Odisha for the next few days. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in different areas till Sunday. The Meteorological Department said that a new low pressure area is expected to form in the coastal and adjoining areas of Bangladesh, which may cause rain in the state. The IMD said in a special weather bulletin that a low pressure area is likely to form within the next 24 hours due to cyclonic circulation of upper air over south-eastern Bangladesh and its adjoining areas. This is the reason why there is a possibility of rain in Odisha till September 15.
