Tomorrow’s weather 13 December 2024: The weather patterns have changed across the country. There is snowfall and rain in the mountains, the effect of which is also visible in North India. In states like Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and UP, the mercury is continuously falling and cold wave is being seen. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of cold wave and fog for the coming days. There are chances of rain at some places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal in South India. Coldest morning of this season in Delhi

The temperature is continuously decreasing in the capital Delhi. The coldest morning of this season was recorded on Thursday with the minimum temperature falling sharply to 4.5 degrees Celsius. Cold wave conditions were seen in some areas. The minimum temperature was recorded at 3.8 degrees Celsius in Ayanagar and 3.2 degrees Celsius in Pusa. The Meteorological Department has predicted further decline in the minimum temperature of Delhi. Weather experts say that the temperature has fallen due to the cold winds coming from the snow-covered hills and clear sky. This decline had started from Wednesday itself. According to the Meteorological Department, on December 13 (Friday) also the minimum mercury is expected to be around 4 degrees. After this the minimum will gradually increase by one degree each. The Meteorological Department has predicted dense fog as well as severe cold in NCR from December 17.

Orange alert of rain in four districts of Kerala

In view of the possibility of heavy rain in many parts of Kerala on Thursday, the Meteorological Department has issued ‘Orange Alert’ in four districts of the state for today. IMD has issued orange alert for Kollam, Ernakulam, Idukki and Thrissur districts. The Meteorological Department has also issued ‘Yellow Alert’ in eight districts of the state for today. IMD said that there may be light to moderate rain and thundershowers in some parts of the state in the next five days, apart from this, there is a possibility of very heavy rain in some parts of the state on Thursday.

First snowfall of the season in the plains of Kashmir

Many parts of the plains of Kashmir valley received the season’s first snowfall while the upper reaches received moderate rain. Officials said the minimum temperature has improved at most places in the valley. Light snowfall occurred in the plains of Shopian, Pulwama and Baramulla as well as in the upper reaches of Anantnag, Budgam and Bandipora. However, there was no snowfall in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Light to moderate snowfall occurred in the upper reaches of the valley including tourist places like Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Tangmarg, Gurez and Zojila Pass. The IMD has predicted improvement in the weather from tomorrow and expects mainly dry conditions to continue till December 20.

Cold is troubling Madhya Pradesh

Icy cold winds have increased the chill in Madhya Pradesh and its effect is now visible on common people’s life as well. Bonfires have started burning at many places and the timings of schools have also started being changed. The weather pattern has changed in the state for the last four days, cold winds are blowing, a drop in temperature is also being recorded and the sunshine is looking pleasant. The weather department has predicted that cold winds will blow in the coming days and the effect of cold will persist.

Temperature dropped in Bihar, cold increased

The weather patterns have started changing in all the areas including the capital Patna of Bihar. After one week of December, the minimum temperature is now falling. If we look at the data of the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature of Patna was recorded at 15.1 degrees Celsius on December 5, while it was recorded at 12.0 degrees Celsius on December 7. After this, the minimum temperature of Patna was recorded at 14.9 degrees Celsius on 10 December and 12.4 degrees Celsius on 11 December. The minimum temperature of Samastipur on December 11 was recorded at 7.0 degrees Celsius. According to Patna Meteorological Centre, it is not as cold in December as it has been in the past years. There are signs of change in the weather in the coming days. The temperature will drop in the morning and evening and people will feel more cold.
