Cold may increase with rain in Delhi
Now cold has started in the capital Delhi. The temperature is reaching below 10 degrees in the morning and evening. It was the coldest night so far this winter in Delhi and the minimum temperature was recorded at 7.1 degrees Celsius. This morning the minimum temperature was recorded at eight degrees Celsius, which is two degrees less than normal. The weather department has also predicted light rain, after which the cold may increase further. Tomorrow the maximum temperature in Delhi may be 23 degrees and the minimum temperature may be 7 degrees.

There will be fog in Punjab and Haryana in the coming 24 hours. Due to Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain along with thunderstorm over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. There is also a possibility of fog in parts of Northeast India like Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning in Punjab, Haryana and Uttarakhand in the next two-three days. There will be fog in Himachal, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Cold wave is expected in Western Rajasthan in the next two-three days and in Eastern Rajasthan on the third day. There is a possibility of heavy rain and thunder and lightning in Tamil Nadu on the third day.

Cold wave will start now
Cold wave is likely to prevail in most parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh in the next four-five days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in Tamil Nadu as the low pressure area moves towards the coast. Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala may also receive heavy rain. Cold wave is likely to continue in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh for the next six-seven days. Heavy rain is expected in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka.
