Tomorrow’s weather 05 January 2025: Along with severe cold, fog continues to wreak havoc in Delhi-NCR. At the same time, many states of North India including Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan are experiencing severe cold. Due to this, orange and yellow alerts have been issued at some places. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be fog along with cold in Delhi tomorrow i.e. on Sunday. There is a possibility of light rain in Delhi-NCR on January 6, after which the cold will increase further. According to IMD, cold day and fog conditions may persist in North-West and Central India for the next 2 days. Very dense fog is likely to occur at isolated places in Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi during late night and morning hours. It is extremely cold in Uttar Pradesh also. Visibility is also very low. Visibility has reduced to 50-100 meters at many places. A warning was issued regarding very dense fog in UP.

Dense fog and snowfall in parts of Kashmir

Dense fog blanketed many areas of Kashmir on Saturday and there is a possibility of widespread snowfall in the valley. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy snowfall in medium and high altitude areas. The Meteorological Department said that moderate to strong western disturbance is likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir and light to moderate snowfall may occur at most places and this situation may remain at its peak from Saturday night to Monday morning. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy snowfall in the middle and high altitude areas of Kashmir and Chenab Valley from Saturday night till late Sunday night or Monday morning.

Cold wave in many parts of Jharkhand

Cold wave continued in Jharkhand on Saturday and the temperature was recorded below 6 degrees Celsius. The IMD said the weather remained dry in the state during the last 24 hours and Khunti recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 5.3 degrees Celsius. According to IMD, ‘During the last 24 hours, temperatures were below normal at some places.’ There is no possibility of any major change in the minimum temperature during the next 24 hours and thereafter the temperature may rise by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius in the next three days.

Gave relief from cold in many areas of Rajasthan

The increase in temperature in the last 24 hours in most parts of Rajasthan has brought relief from the harsh cold, while fog and cold continue in some parts. On Saturday morning, the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.4 degrees Celsius in Vanasthali of Tonk. According to IMD, dense to very dense fog was recorded at some places in the state, hence drivers faced problems due to low visibility in Sriganganagar, Bharatpur, Dausa. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that the weather will remain like this for the next 24 hours and during this period, there may be light rain at some places in Bikaner division.
