Tomorrow’s weather 04 January 2025: Cold wave is going on in entire North India including Delhi-NCR. People are shivering in the severe cold. People are taking help of bonfire to escape the cold. Yellow and orange alerts have been issued in many states of North India regarding fog and cold.
There may be a drop in temperature due to winds in Delhi. Due to Western Disturbance, strong winds and rain will continue in Delhi till January 6. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 7.6 degrees Celsius. The cold will increase further in Delhi in the coming days. Orange alert has also been issued in Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Amritsar of Punjab expressing the possibility of extreme cold. At the same time, yellow alert has been issued in some areas of Haryana. The situation is similar in Ghaziabad also. The minimum temperature was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius on Friday morning. The maximum temperature during the day is expected to reach 18 degrees Celsius. Light sunshine is expected in the afternoon. Today the wind speed is 10 km per hour.

According to the Meteorological Department, Pachhua has increased the cold in Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, the mercury here has crossed 4 degrees Celsius. The mercury has reached 5 degrees Celsius in Kanpur city. Melting is also taking place in rural areas. The minimum temperature in Lucknow was recorded at 7 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 17.1 degrees Celsius. An increase of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius may be recorded in the maximum temperature of the state in the next 24 hours.

The Meteorological Department said that the minimum temperature in Gulmarg, a tourist spot famous for ‘skiing’ in North Kashmir, was recorded at minus 4.5 degrees Celsius. According to the weather department, Pahalgam, the base camp for the annual Amarnath Yatra in south Kashmir, recorded a minimum temperature of minus 4.6 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Srinagar was recorded at minus 2.2 degrees Celsius while the previous night it was minus 2.6 degrees Celsius. Presently the Kashmir valley is in the grip of ‘Chilla-e-Kalan’ (period of extreme cold). It is considered the hardest time of winter, which started from December 21. ‘Chilla-e-Kalan’ receives maximum snowfall during the 40 day period.
