A look at the weather of Delhi

Fluctuations in temperature are likely to continue in Delhi for the next few days. On Thursday, the effect of cold was seen in the capital since morning and the temperature dropped to 5 degrees Celsius. For the last few days, continuous changes are being seen in the minimum temperature. There was less sunshine till noon on Thursday.

The pollution level in Delhi is likely to remain severe in the coming days. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the level of pollution will remain severe on December 20. It may worsen further and reach very bad levels on 21st and 22nd December.

How will the weather be in Punjab-Haryana?

Punjab-Haryana, the states adjacent to Delhi, are also facing severe cold. Cold wave will continue throughout the day in Punjab today. Apart from this, fog can also cause trouble in many areas. The situation is going to be like this for the next three days i.e. till 23rd December. The maximum temperature will be 21 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 3 degrees. Talking about Haryana, here too there is double dose of cold wave and fog. Today cold wave will trouble the people of Haryana. Apart from this, similar weather is going to prevail for the next three days also. The maximum temperature can drop to 21 degrees and the minimum temperature can drop to 4 degrees. The minimum temperature in Chandigarh today will be 6 degrees.

Know the condition of hill states

In the rest of the hilly states including Jammu and Kashmir, the severe effect of cold is being seen due to the mercury going down to minus. Snowfall in the hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir has made the tourists happy. In areas like Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Kupwara, Srinagar and Pahalgam, the minimum temperature will remain at minus 6 degrees Celsius even today. The minimum temperature in Jammu and other places may reach 5 degrees.

Talking about Uttarakhand, the hilly areas are experiencing severe cold compared to the plains. However, the weather in the higher altitude areas remains normal to some extent due to bright sunshine during the day. The cold has increased significantly after light snowfall in Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham. The effect of snowfall is also visible in low-lying areas. At present, the weather remains dry in Uttarakhand. There is a possibility of change in the weather only after the rains in the state. Talking about Himachal Pradesh, orange alert of cold wave has been declared today. This situation is going to remain the same for the next three days.

Know the condition of these states including UP-MP

Talking about Uttar Pradesh, today morning and late night fog warning has been issued in all parts of Uttar Pradesh. Light to moderate fog may occur in the western and eastern parts of the state. However, dense fog or cold wave is unlikely. The weather is expected to remain clear on December 21 also. Also, light fog may occur in some parts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain almost the same for the next five days i.e. till December 25.

Talking about Rajasthan, orange alert of cold wave has been declared in many parts here too. Apart from this, a cold wave warning has been issued in the eastern and western parts for the next three days. Talking about Bihar, fog can be seen at many places here too. Strong cold winds will also trouble the people of Bihar. The weather is changing in the mountains and it will be very cold in some places.
