There has been a change in the weather in Uttar Pradesh. The nights have now become colder than before and dense fog is prevailing in many areas. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of dense fog in many districts of the state for the next few days. Especially in the districts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh, the problem of fog will be more. Very dense fog may occur in districts like Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti. Apart from this, there is a possibility of dense fog in Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Saharanpur, Shamli, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Baghpat. According to the Meteorological Department, foggy conditions may persist in the state till November 24. However, the intensity of the fog is expected to reduce from November 20 onwards.

As the new week begins, Delhiites are surrounded by cold and fog. On Monday, Delhi’s maximum temperature dropped to 3 degrees Celsius and the city was covered with a blanket of smog. Visibility in Delhi has become extremely low due to fog. Visibility at Palam Airport was reduced to 100-150 meters. In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature of Delhi has fallen by 3.7 degrees Celsius to 23.5 degrees Celsius. Today the maximum temperature of Delhi can be 24 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 15 degrees Celsius. Today, AQI was recorded beyond 500 in many areas of Delhi. Which is considered a very dangerous level.

Chances of snowfall in the mountains

The weather has taken a turn in Himachal Pradesh. Temperatures have dropped in most parts of the state and dense fog is occurring at many places. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy snowfall and rain in the higher reaches of the state in the coming days. There is dense fog in Bilaspur and Sundernagar due to which visibility has become extremely low. Traffic on roads has been affected and the risk of accidents has increased. There is a possibility of heavy snowfall in high altitude areas like Lahaul-Spiti, Chamba, Kangra and Kullu. Due to this, roads may be closed and people may face difficulty in movement.
