Today’s weather and AQI 16 November 2024: The effect of snowfall in the valleys of Kashmir is being seen in the plains like Delhi-NCR. Due to snowfall in the mountains, cold has started being felt in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, UP and Bihar. The Meteorological Department had already issued a forecast of onset of cold from November 15. Which now seems to be proving true. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Delhi and UP will come down rapidly from November 20 onwards. Along with the onset of cold, havoc of pollution is also being seen in the capital Delhi. To stop pollution, Grape-3 was implemented in Delhi but still AQi was recorded above 400 in many areas. Fog started falling in Delhi

There is still some wait left for Delhi’s winter. Amidst the light blanket of fog, people definitely felt some cold on Friday morning and evening, but the sunshine of the day did not let the temperature fall. The maximum temperature recorded on Friday was 30.5 degrees Celsius, which was two degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was also recorded at 15.6 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal. The weather department has predicted that the sky will remain clear till November 21. However, one will have to face light fog or smog in the morning, evening and night. The temperature will drop further from November 18. The Meteorological Department says that the sky is expected to remain clear from November 16 to November 21, although light fog may occur in the morning in some areas.

Meanwhile, there is no alert regarding fog. Light fog is expected in the evening. On Saturday, the maximum temperature can be 30 and minimum 15 degrees Celsius. On 17th it will be 29 degrees and 15 degrees. The temperature will start falling from 18th November. The maximum temperature is expected to be 27 and minimum 14 on 18-19. After this, on 19th and 20th November it will reach 26 degrees and 13 degrees.

How will the weather be in UP today?

The weather in Uttar Pradesh has completely taken the form of cold wave. Dense fog has engulfed most parts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, on Saturday, November 16, there is a possibility of moderate to dense fog in many districts of Western Uttar Pradesh as well as in the Terai areas of Eastern Uttar Pradesh during late night or early morning. Notably, fog is expected in Moradabad division and surrounding areas this morning. At the same time, the moist air coming from the Bay of Bengal will increase the fog situation in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, the cold wind coming from the western mountains is continuously bringing down the temperature.

Dense fog will remain in Rajasthan till 18th November

Winter has arrived in North India and Rajasthan is also not untouched by it. A continuous decline in temperature is being recorded in many districts of the state, due to which there is a huge difference in day and night temperatures. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding fog in some districts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather of Rajasthan is also being affected due to snowfall in the mountains. Cold is likely to increase further in the state in the coming days. Notably, dense fog is likely to persist over western Rajasthan till November 18. At the same time, the weather is expected to remain dry in East Rajasthan.
