The temperature may drop by two to three degrees in the morning. This week the minimum temperature may reach close to 5 degrees. Dense fog may trouble Delhi-NCR for a few days. This week will be characterized by cold and foggy mornings. People will experience mild cold and strong cold winds in the morning. People may have to face cold wave in Punjab from today till December 13. The Meteorological Department has predicted this from 10 to 13 December. Cold wave may prevail in western Rajasthan between 10 to 13 December and in western Madhya Pradesh between 11 to 13 December. Dense fog may persist over Sikkim and Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand till December 11, and over East UP, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till December 12. Heavy rain may occur at some places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karikal till December 13. There may be very heavy rain in some areas on 11 and 12 December. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yemen and Rayalaseema from 11 to 13 December. South Interior Karnataka may also receive heavy rain on 12 and 13 December. There is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Kerala and Mahe between 12 and 14 December.
