Today’s weather 7 January 2025: Many states of North India including Delhi-NCR are currently in the grip of severe cold. The maximum temperature is likely to be 19 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be 8 degrees Celsius. On January 8 and 9, the maximum temperature can be between 20 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be between 6 to 7 degrees Celsius. Moderate fog may remain at some places. On January 10, the minimum temperature may further drop to 5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature will remain around 20 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of light drizzle on 11 and 12 January. The maximum temperature can be between 16 to 17 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be between 8 to 10 degrees Celsius.

How will the weather be in Punjab-Haryana?

Talking about Punjab, today there will be dense to very dense fog in many areas. Along with this, cold wave can also cause trouble. Similar situation will prevail on 8th and 9th January also. Talking about Haryana, people here too will start their morning with dense fog. Orange alert has been declared for fog for the next two days. Dense fog can be seen in Chandigarh today also.

Snowfall in the hilly states and temperatures going into minus in many areas are a joy for the tourists arriving there. Talking about Jammu and Kashmir, the weather will be clear here today. There is no possibility of fog and cold wave. Talking about Uttarakhand, the weather will be clear today. There is no possibility of fog and cold wave or rain. Talking about Himachal Pradesh, dense fog can cause trouble in many areas today and tomorrow. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for two days.

Know the condition of these states including UP

There is a possibility of dense fog in many districts of the state including Lucknow for the next four days. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be dense fog in the city in the morning till January 10. During this period, the night temperature may also drop by one to two degrees Celsius. Talking about Rajasthan, cold is troubling people here too. Today, yellow alert of cold wave has been declared in eastern and western regions. Apart from this, rain has been predicted in Bikaner, Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions between January 10 and 12.

Talking about Bihar, today a yellow alert of cold has been issued in the entire state. Strong westerly winds are likely to prevail in most parts of Bihar on January 7 and 8. Due to these winds the cold will increase further. Dense fog may prevail in districts like Patna, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Gaya, Lakhisarai, Khagaria, Begusarai, Munger and Bhagalpur during the next 48 hours. The severity of cold is going to increase once again in Madhya Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, the second phase of cold may start in the state from today i.e. January 7. The north-western part of the state has come under the influence of a seasonal system since Sunday. The effect of this system will now be seen in the entire state.
