Chances of rain in Delhi-NCR even today

Delhi-NCR witnessed good rainfall yesterday. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy weather and moderate intensity rain in Delhi on Friday. Today the maximum and minimum temperatures in Delhi are expected to be around 33 and 24 degrees Celsius respectively. The Meteorological Department had also issued a yellow alert for rain yesterday. After the rain, the temperature of the capital has also come down, giving relief to the people from the humid heat.

Rain alert for two days in UP

Rain alert has been issued for the next two days in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department said that today there may be rain in Lalitpur, Jhansi, Mahoba, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Pilibhit, Siddharthnagar, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bareilly and Rampur of Bundelkhand region. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Saharanpur, Amroha, Moradabad, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bijnor, Rampur and Sambhal. There is also a possibility of rain in western UP. This includes Gautam Buddha Nagar, Hapur, Ghaziabad, Kasganj, Badaun and Etah districts.

Heavy rain continues in Rajasthan

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the southern and south-eastern parts of Rajasthan for the next few days. According to the Meteorological Department, the circulation system formed over eastern Rajasthan is located over Uttar Pradesh and Haryana region today. A low pressure area has formed over the Bay of Bengal and Andhra Pradesh, Odisha region. Monsoon is likely to remain active in most parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next four-five days. Heavy and very heavy rains are likely to continue in southern and south-eastern Rajasthan for the next four-five days. There is a possibility of a decrease in heavy rains from September 10.

Monsoon is raining heavily in Madhya Pradesh

The spell of rain continues in Madhya Pradesh as well. The Meteorological Department said that this time Madhya Pradesh has received 904.9 mm of rain from June 1 to September 5, which is 10 percent more than the average annual monsoon rainfall. IMD data showed that the state usually receives 823.9 mm of rain during this period. The southwest monsoon reached Madhya Pradesh on June 21, three days late than the scheduled time. The first monsoon rain in the state occurred in Balaghat district in the eastern part.
