Today’s weather 6 October 2024: Monsoon has bid farewell to most of the states of the country including Delhi-NCR. As soon as the monsoon has gone, the heat has returned once again. While the humid heat is troubling people in North India, the rainy season is still going on in the North East states. The Meteorological Department says that even today there are chances of heavy rain in Northeast and South India. Heat will trouble Delhi-NCR

Monsoon has bid farewell to entire North India including Delhi-NCR. The Meteorological Department has said that today the sky of the capital will be clear and there will be sunshine. The heat will bother people on weekends. The temperature has been continuously increasing in Delhi for the last four-five days. The maximum temperature in Delhi has crossed 35 degrees. Similar heat wave will continue in Delhi in the coming days also.

Monsoon will depart from the country in the next two-three days

According to the Meteorological Department, very heavy rainfall was observed in Meghalaya, while heavy rainfall was also recorded in South Karnataka. Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred at some places in Tamil Nadu also. The Meteorological Department said that the South-West Monsoon has departed from Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and parts of Maharashtra. Monsoon is likely to withdraw from more parts in the coming two to three days. The withdrawal line of Monsoon is now passing through Sultanpur, Panna and Khargone up to Navsari, Gujarat. Southwest Monsoon is expected to withdraw from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and some more parts of Maharashtra in the next two to three days.

It will rain in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu

According to the Meteorological Department forecast, the rainy season will continue in the North East states including Meghalaya even today. A warning of heavy rain has been issued in South Karnataka. Apart from this, rain can also be seen in some districts and areas in Tamil Nadu.

Chances of rain in these states also

IMD says that a cyclonic circulation remains over northern Punjab and adjoining Pakistan. A similar pressure area is also over the west-central Bay of Bengal and adjacent Andhra Pradesh coasts. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rain in the northeastern states, especially Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya for the next 24 hours.

Sporadic rain in Bihar-Jharkhand also

Apart from this, there may also be rain in some states of South India, which include Tamil Nadu and Kerala. However, the intensity of rain will reduce later. The Meteorological Department has also predicted heavy rain in West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, South Karnataka and Rayalaseema today. Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and parts of adjoining Maharashtra may receive light to moderate rain and thundershowers. Even in East India, scattered rain and thundershowers are likely over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha.
