Today, the maximum temperature of the capital is expected to be 34 degrees and the minimum temperature is expected to be 27 degrees Celsius.

There will be heavy rain in West Bengal till July 9

North West Bengal is likely to receive more rain till July 9. The Meteorological Department said that heavy rains are expected due to a ‘trough’ (low pressure area) from Rajasthan towards the northeast and the monsoon becoming active in North West Bengal. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains and extremely heavy rains are expected at one or two places in the sub-Himalayan districts of Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Alipurdwar and Cooch Behar till July 9. Along with this, landslides may occur in the hilly districts of Darjeeling and Kalimpong and waterlogging in low-lying areas in the plains.

There is a possibility of decrease in rain on 7th and 8th July and rain in some parts of north-eastern Rajasthan. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain with thunderstorms in the Bikaner division of western Rajasthan for two-three days after noon.
