If we look at the weather of the country’s capital, on Tuesday, after a long time, bright sunshine came out during the day. However, light to moderate rain also occurred in some areas. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky of the city will remain generally cloudy even today. However, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected. Meanwhile, according to the Meteorological Department, ‘Yellow’ alert will remain in force in the capital for the next two days. There are chances of rain today in many states including Delhi, Uttarakhand, Western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh.

How will the weather be in Delhi today

There is a possibility of rain in Delhi today. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert. According to the department, today the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 35 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the 24-hour Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi on Tuesday was 88 at 4 pm, which falls in the ‘satisfactory’ category. Rain is forecast in Ghaziabad adjoining Delhi.

Yellow alert in Himachal too

There is a possibility of rain in Himachal Pradesh today as well. The weather in the state has been bad for the last few days. The local meteorological department has issued a ‘yellow alert’ for thunderstorms and lightning at different places in the state today as well. On Tuesday also, a total of 78 roads including National Highway 5 and 707 were closed due to rain in the state. The State Emergency Operation Center (SEOC) has given this information. Intermittent rain continues in many parts of Himachal Pradesh. Baldwara was the rainiest place in the state with a record rainfall of 90 mm. Heavy rain is expected in the capital Shimla.

Rain alert in Rajasthan for next 4 to 5 days

The spell of rain continues in Rajasthan as well. Heavy rain has occurred at many places in Udaipur, Dungarpur and Banswara districts in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many areas today as well. The Meteorological Center said that there is a possibility of rain at some places in western Rajasthan and many places in eastern Rajasthan. Heavy rain occurred at some places in Udaipur, Dungarpur and Banswara districts. Light to moderate rain is forecast in Ganganagar, Sirohi, Sikar, Rajsamand, Jalore, Jhalawar and Nagaur. Jaipur Meteorological Center in-charge Radheshyam Sharma said that rain is likely to continue in the state this week. he/she said that there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in the southern and south-eastern districts of the state for the next four to five days.

How will the weather be in Bihar

Despite the monsoon being active in Bihar this time, the rain was not as heavy as was expected. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain today in different parts of the state including the western and northern parts. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be above normal. This year, Bihar has recorded less than normal rainfall.
