Yellow alert for rain in Delhi today

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in the capital Delhi for today and tomorrow. According to the IMD, Delhi is expected to remain generally cloudy and there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and thundershowers. The Meteorological Department said that the maximum and minimum temperatures on Tuesday are likely to be around 34 and 26 degrees Celsius.

Heavy rain alert in Odisha

Odisha Meteorological Department scientist Manorama Mohanty said, “Light to moderate rain has occurred in many areas in the last 24 hours… Rainfall is likely to increase from September 4… Light to moderate rain is likely at many places on September 5, heavy rain is likely in Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur and Gajapati districts… Rain is more likely in South Odisha.”

Bad situation in Gujarat due to heavy rain

The weather department has predicted heavy rains in Gujarat this week. The IMD has forecast heavy rains at isolated places in Chhota Udaipur, Narmada and Surat districts today and tomorrow. Widespread rains have also been predicted across the state during the next three days, with heavy rains expected to continue in some parts till Saturday.

The weather will change again in Uttar Pradesh

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Uttar Pradesh is going to change from today. IMD has predicted rain in many areas of western UP today. The Meteorological Department says that rain activities may increase in some districts of UP from today. After this, there is a possibility of rain at most places in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh on 4, 5 and 6 September.

According to Skymet, moderate to heavy rain is expected in Telangana, Vidarbha, Marathwada and parts of western Madhya Pradesh today.
