The Meteorological Department said that in the next 24 hours, heavy rains with lightning are expected in Ashoknagar, Sagar, Damoh, Raisen, Narsinghpur, Bhind, Sheopur Kalan, Morena, Khandwa, Khargone, Burhanpur, Pandhurna Pench, South Chhindwara, South Seoni, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Guna, Niwari. Moderate rains with lightning are expected in Chhatarpur as well as Chhindwara, Seoni, Tikamgarh, Anuppur Amarkantak, Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat, Shivpuri, Datia, Maihar, Ratlam, Narmadapuram Pachmarhi, Harda, Betul, Dewas.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may occur in Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Tehri, Pauri districts as well as other districts today. A yellow alert has been issued in all the districts of the state on July 31.
