Today’s weather 26 October 2024: The temperature is rising in Delhi-NCR due to pollution. The feeling of heat continues during the day. There is no cold even in the morning and night. Actually, the wind pattern is being controlled due to the cyclone Dana which has arrived on the Odisha coast. Due to the storm, heat may persist in the air till 27th and 28th October. After this, a Western Disturbance will reach the high peaks of the northern mountains between October 28 and 30. This system will prevent the temperature from rising in the plains including Delhi. Due to this system, moderate strong north-westerly winds may blow in Delhi. There may be a slight drop in temperature between 30th and 31st October. But the effect of cold will not be felt. We will have to wait for Diwali to get cold.

According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear on Saturday. The maximum temperature can be 33 and minimum 19 degrees. On October 27, the maximum temperature may be around 32 and minimum 19 degrees. After this the temperature will increase once again. Between October 28 and 31, the maximum temperature can be 33 to 34 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 19 to 20 degrees.

Rain in some parts of Jharkhand

Due to the impact of cyclonic storm ‘Dana’, there was rain in some parts of Jharkhand on Friday. West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan and East Singhbhum districts in Jharkhand’s Kolhan region have been receiving light to moderate rain since Thursday night, while other parts of the state are experiencing cloudy sky with intermittent drizzle. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said on Friday that he/she is continuously monitoring the cyclone system for the last 24 hours.

‘Orange alert’ issued in 8 districts in Kerala

Many parts of Kerala have been receiving heavy rain since Friday morning, due to which normal life has been affected due to waterlogging on roads and traffic jams. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an ‘Orange Alert’ in eight districts of the state. The IMD had initially issued an ‘orange alert’ for the day in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki and Thrissur districts. By afternoon, ‘Orange Alert’ was also issued in Pathanamthitta, Kollam and Alappuzha districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has predicted very heavy to very heavy rainfall in the state till October 27 due to the cyclonic conditions forming in the Arabian Sea off the southern Kerala coast.
