After this, the next stop of the monsoon will be towards Delhi via West Uttar Pradesh. Skymet has predicted a day earlier that the monsoon can enter Delhi between 27 and 30 June. According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain in many districts including Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Ghazipur, Sonbhadra, Pratapgarh, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, Banda, Jhansi, Mahoba and Lalitpur.

Yellow alert for Mumbai, Orange alert for Thane, Raigad

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in Mumbai. Heavy rain is expected here today and tomorrow. Yellow alert has been issued for Mumbai and Palghar and Orange alert for Thane, Raigad. According to BMC, from 8 am on Friday to 8 am on Saturday, the eastern suburbs recorded the highest rainfall of 33.68 mm, western suburbs 18.30 mm and the city 7.49 mm. According to meteorologist Rishikesh Agre, the southwest monsoon is gradually becoming active. Due to the entry of dry air in the coastal area, there is no possibility of heavy rain in the city at present. This situation will remain till Sunday. Temperature dropped below 40 in Ghaziabad, relief from scorching heat

There is some relief from the scorching heat now. After a long time, the maximum temperature has dropped below 40 degrees Celsius. On Saturday, the maximum temperature was 37 and the minimum temperature was 28 degrees Celsius. It rained in the afternoon on NH-9 and its surrounding areas. Its effect was seen on the entire city. According to meteorologists, the sky will remain clear for the next three days. The maximum temperature will remain around 40 to 41 degrees Celsius. The sky will be cloudy again from Wednesday. After which there is a possibility of pre-monsoon rain for two to three consecutive days. During this time, the maximum temperature will reach below 40 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will remain around 25 degrees.
