Heavy rain alert in Uttar Pradesh from July 21

According to IMD, light rain may occur in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahar, Aligarh, Mathura, Pilibhit, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi today. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many parts of the state from July 21.

Danger of landslides in the mountains

Monsoon will once again come into active mode as soon as Sawan arrives in Uttarakhand. Due to which there will be heavy rain in Uttarakhand once again. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in many areas of the state this weekend. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of landslides in hilly areas. At the same time, heavy rain is expected in some districts of Himachal Pradesh for the next four-five days. The Meteorological Department has also issued an orange alert. According to meteorologists, monsoon may pick up pace again in August.

Floods are creating havoc in Gujarat

Porbandar in Gujarat is waterlogged due to heavy rains. Heavy monsoon rains have caused flooding in the entire area. Firefighters are rescuing people trapped in it. In the first phase of the operation, firefighters rescued a handicapped couple from an auto rickshaw. While the couple was travelling in an auto, they got stuck in the auto rickshaw due to heavy rains near Porbandar Ice Factory. After a lot of effort, firefighters rescued them with the help of ropes and tubes in chest-deep water. In view of heavy rains in the state, a red alert has been issued in entire Saurashtra till July 22.
