Orange and yellow alert issued in Uttarakhand

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is forecast in Dehradun, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh on Monday and Tuesday. Director of Meteorological Department Vikram Singh said that moderate rain was recorded in the entire state during the last 24 hours. Heavy rain has occurred in Dehradun and Bageshwar during the last 24 hours. Apart from this, light to moderate rain has occurred in Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag and Udham Singh Nagar. The Director of Meteorological Department appealed to the people and said, ‘People should be cautious in the areas where heavy rain warning has been issued and keep distance from rivers and streams. Rainy season starts again in Rajasthan
