Cold knocks in Delhi-NCR

According to the Meteorological Department, cold has slowly started knocking in Delhi-NCR. There is a need to switch off fans in homes at night. According to the Meteorological Department, from October 18 to October 22, the maximum temperature of Delhi will be between 33 to 35 degrees and the minimum temperature will be between 17 to 19 degrees. There will be sunshine and clear sky during the day, but slight cold may be felt in the morning and evening.

Where will it rain today?

The south-west monsoon has departed from the entire country. According to the Meteorological Department, today a yellow alert of rain has been issued for South Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. There may be heavy rain in these states today. Apart from this, there may also be rain in coastal areas of Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and its surrounding areas today.

The weather department has issued weather forecast for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. According to the IMD, a low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal has weakened while passing near Chennai. Due to this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain, thunder and lightning in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal till Sunday. There is a possibility of heavy rain at isolated places in Vellore, Tirupattur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem and Erode districts on Friday. Similar weather conditions are expected in other districts including Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Ranipet, Tiruchirappalli, Madurai and others on Sunday.
The weather pattern is expected to continue for the next 48 hours.
