Orange alert in two districts of Kerala

The department issued a ‘yellow alert’ predicting heavy rain in ten districts of the state – Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kasaragod. Intermittent rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorm occurred in many parts of Kerala on Wednesday. There is a possibility of rain even today.
