This is 5.9 degrees above normal. The moisture level in the air was 56 to 75 percent. Many parts of the capital also took place in the evening. According to the Meteorological Department, drizzle took place in Safdarjung, Palam, Lodi Road, Ridge and Aya Nagar.

Heavy snowfall and rain in Himachal, many avenues closed

Landslides occurred on Friday due to heavy snow and rain in Himachal Pradesh. Movement on several major roads and national hives stopped. Due to this, life in many areas got disturbed. Around 200 roads have been closed across the state, causing many areas of Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Chamba and Shimla districts cut from the rest of the states. Officials said the movement on the highway has stopped due to intermittent snow and rain in the state for the third consecutive day. All educational institutions in Chamba and Manali have been closed.

Punjab- Rain in some parts of Haryana

Many parts of Punjab and Haryana received rain during the last 24 hours, which led to a drop in temperature in both states. The Meteorological Department said that the joint capital of both the states Chandigarh received 10.9 mm of rain during this period. Amritsar, Punjab received 17.5 mm, Ludhiana 5.8 mm in Ludhiana, 7.2 mm in Patiala, one mm in Bathinda, 6.1 mm in Faridkot, 20.7 mm in Gurdaspur, 10.5 mm in Ferozepur, 20.5 mm in Hoshiarpur and three mm in Mohali. Ambala, Haryana received 6.2 mm of rainfall, 2.8 mm in Hisar, four mm in Karnal and 0.6 mm in Rohtak. The minimum temperature fell to three degrees in many places in both states including Chandigarh.

Possibility of light rain in Rajasthan

In some parts of Rajasthan, there is a possibility of light rain with cloud roaring today. Radheshyam Sharma, in-charge of Jaipur Meteorological Center, said that due to the effect of a pressure mechanism over western Rajasthan and its surrounding area, light rain and strong winds are likely to blow with cloud roaring at some places in Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Bharatpur division on Friday. he/she said that on Saturday too, light rains with cloud roaring in Jaipur, Bharatpur division and Shekhawati area are likely to be mainly dry in most parts.

Heavy snowfall in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag and Leh

After snowfall and rains in the hilly areas on Friday morning, the cold has started to feel cold. Gangotri Dham of Uttarakhand, Mukhaba, Harshil, Dharali, Bagori, Jhala, Jaspur, Dayara Bugyal of Uttarakhand, including the winter migration site of Maa Ganga, caused heavy snowfall in the height areas, which has seen a huge drop in temperature. Snow is shining like silver in the height mountainous areas of Uttarkashi district including Harshil Valley, while rain in the lower areas has increased the cold. Snowfall orange alert issued

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of heavy rains and snowfall in Uttarakhand. According to IMD, rain and snowfall will continue in other districts including Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag. At the same time, there has been tremendous snowfall in Leh, Jammu and Kashmir since Friday morning. The temperature of Leh has also been recorded due to snowfall. The flight has also been canceled due to heavy snowfall.
