Panic after threat to blow up Chennai to Mumbai flight
There was a stir after a bomb threat was received late night on the IndiGo flight going from Chennai to Mumbai. The flight landed safely in Mumbai at around 10:30 pm. IndiGo said that IndiGo flight 6E 5149 going from Chennai to Mumbai had received a bomb threat. On landing in Mumbai, the crew followed the protocol and the plane was taken to an isolation bay. All the passengers disembarked safely from the plane. We are working with the security agencies. After all the security checks are completed, the plane will be landed back in the terminal area.

Four people died due to lightning in Gwalior
Four people were killed and one injured when lightning struck in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior district. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Niranjan Sharma said the incident occurred when some people were measuring their farmland along with revenue officials and suddenly it started raining with a strong thunderstorm. To save themselves, they hid under a tree and a hut, when suddenly lightning struck, killing four people and injuring one. The official said the revenue officials took shelter under the hut, where the impact of the lightning was comparatively less. The incident occurred in Karhiya village of Bhitarwar tehsil.
