New Delhi. Tilak Verma, the new sensation of the Indian team, played an unbeaten innings of 72 runs and gave India a stunning win against England in the second T20 match. Chasing 166 runs, India’s top order was badly faltering. Tilak Verma kept one end and killed India by taking victory. The process of his/her not out on the tour of South Africa in November 2024 continues. In the 22 matches played in this format, Tilak has scored 707 runs at an average of 58.91 and a strike rate of 156, including two centuries.

Tilak Verma’s 72 -run innings against England in Chennai gave him/her a place in the record book. This player has become the first batsman in the world to score more than 300 runs against full member countries without being dismissed in T20. Tilak scored an unbeaten 107 and 120 runs in the last two T20 matches against South Africa and scored 19 runs in the first T20 against England.
