Threat to Shahrukh Khan: Accused in police remand till November 18, Faizan’s lawyer said this in court


Accused Faizan Khan, arrested from Raipur in the Shahrukh Khan threat case, has been sent on police remand till November 18. Faizan Khan is a lawyer by profession and was arrested from Raipur, Chhattisgarh in the case of threatening Shahrukh Khan. After this, he/she was brought to Mumbai, where he/she was produced in Bandra Court on Thursday, 14 November. Police sought seven-day remand for Faizan, so that the Shah Rukh Khan threat case could be investigated properly. But the accused’s lawyers Amit Mishra and Sunil Mishra said that Faizan did not threaten, but his/her phone was stolen before the incident.

Faizan’s lawyers called the threatening call a conspiracy

he/she argued in the court that the threatening call made from Faizan’s phone was a conspiracy against him/her as he/she had earlier filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police against Shah Rukh Khan over a dialogue referring to deer hunting in his/her film ‘Anjaam’.

Court sent him/her on police remand till 18th November

After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the court sent accused Faizan to police remand till November 18. It is known that Bandra Police had received a threatening call on November 5, in which a ransom of Rs 50 lakh was demanded from Shahrukh Khan. It was said that if he/she did not pay the money he/she would be killed.

After tracing the call, it was found to be from Faizan of Raipur.

After this, the police immediately got involved in the investigation and traced the number from which the call had come. It was found out that the number belonged to a person named Faizan Khan in Raipur. When the police interrogated Faizan, he/she told that his/her phone was stolen on November 2.
