Threat of terrorist attack on PM Narendra Modi’s aircraft, Mumbai Police comes to call

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aircraft has received a threat of terrorist attack before his/her two -day US visit. Mumbai Police gave this information on Wednesday. The caller has been arrested and is being told that he/she is mentally ill. News agency ANI quoted the Mumbai Police as saying that a call was received in the Mumbai Police Control Room on February 11, warning that terrorists could attack Prime Minister Modi’s aircraft, as they were going on an official trip.

A person from Chembur detained

Seeing the seriousness of the information, the police informed other agencies and started the investigation. Police said the person making a threatening call to the Mumbai Police Control Room has been taken into custody from Chembur area. he/she is mentally ill. PM Modi left for a four -day visit to France and America on Monday. his/her two -day American visit is scheduled to begin on Wednesday.

Threat was received earlier also

However, this is not the first time the Mumbai Police has threatened to threaten PM Modi’s life. According to officials, a threat was sent to the traffic police helpline in December last year. It claimed a conspiracy of bombs associated with two alleged ISI agents. Apart from this, 34 -year -old Kandivali resident Sheetal Chavan was arrested last year on charges of threat to the Prime Minister’s life. Chavan allegedly called the police control room and claimed that he/she had weapons ready.
