Those going home on Chhath Puja will get confirmed tickets, 195 special trains will run from Delhi


People book train tickets in advance to go home on Chhath Puja, whether in a general or an AC coach, they should just get a confirmed seat. But many passengers find all the seats full only after a few minutes of the ticket window. What should a person do in such a situation, because he/she has to go home but is not able to get a confirmed bus ticket. Considering such situations, the government takes out special trains in which people can easily go home without any hassle.

Let us tell you, 195 special trains have been started from Delhi. Even before this, special trains have been run by the Railways. Railways has started 195 trains from Delhi region in 13 days. This increases the chances of people going home on the occasion of Chhath getting confirmed tickets.

These trains are running from many big cities of the country

Railway Board Chairman Satish Kumar says that special arrangements have been made at many major stations along with New Delhi, Anand Vihar, Ahmedabad, Surat, Baroda, Mumbai, Bandra, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru. So that passengers do not have to face any kind of trouble. To control the crowd, trains are being run for Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
More than 160 trains have been run on 2nd November and more than 170 trains have been started on 3rd November. Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel have also been deployed here to control the crowd.

You can book tickets both offline and online, those who are not able to get confirmed tickets can take advantage of unreserved seats. Let us tell you that unnecessary movement of passengers has been banned. Railway servants will also be present to help senior and disabled citizens.

Chhath festival is starting from 5th November, which will end on 8th November. This festival is especially celebrated in Bihar, Jharkhand and eastern Uttar Pradesh. On this occasion, people go to their villages and this is the reason, there is a rush for tickets to travel in trains.
